2016 Special Summer Olympics

Our PALS olympic team participated in the 2016 summer games hosted by Ventura County.  The special olympics encourages disabled people to 'show life without limits' and break the impossible.  Our five participants, including Alex Solis, 33, competed in a series of event games.  Each participated in an intense battle along side other folks from different adult programs.  Hats off to Alex Solis, who participated in the 60-yard wheelchair dash and gave it his all. Alex completed his race with cheering among the croud. Although finishing last, Alexis is first in our hearts.  We hope to come back again for the next olympics.
